Are you looking for something a little different, something more than the three minute worship song that sounds pretty much like all of the others you hear on the radio? Then check out Chris Lizotte's "Signal Hill Revival".

When I heard this album I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! They were jamming! They weren't just playing verse, chorus, bridge and out songs, they were leaning into it, playing music. The guitarist and producer of the album is Marc Ford who has a storied past with bands like Burning Tree, Black Crowes, Govt Mule, and so on. His guitar work brings Duane Allman to mind. Look no further than the first song, Sweet Mercy, and listen to the "last" three and a half minutes of the song (which comes at the five minute mark!) to see what I'm talking about.

Great work, tight band, obvious love of God AND music. Get it.
